Days 1

Fly to Beijing

Depart Ireland for your overnight flight to Beijing. During the flight, enjoy in-flight service including meals, bar service, and feature films.

Day 2

Arrive Beijing

Welcome to China. Upon arrival in Beijing you will be met by your guide and transferred to your hotel. Please note standard check-in time at the hotel is 14:00. Overnight Jianguo Garden Hotel Beijing.

Day 3

Beijing

Full day tour to Tiananmen Square, Forbidden City and Summer Palace. Photo stop at the Bird Nest & Water Cube. Overnight Jianguo Garden Hotel Beijing. Today’s meal inclusions – Breakfast & Lunch

Day 4

Beijing

Full day tour to Temple of Heaven, Mutianyu Great Wall, Jade stone workshop visit en route. Overnight Jianguo Garden Hotel Beijing. Today’s meal inclusions – Breakfast & Lunch

Day 5

Beijing/Xi'an

Morning at leisure. Noon transfer to the railway station for your train to Xian. Train departs Beijing at 14:00, arrives Xian at 18:20. Upon arrival in Xian, you will be met by your guide and transferred to your hotel. Overnight Titan Times Hotel Xi’an. Today’s meal inclusions – Breakfast

Day 6

Xi'an

Full day excursion to the Terracotta Warriors Museum, and visit to the ceramics & pottery workshop en route. Also visit the City Wall and Small Wild Goose Pagoda. Day 7

Xi’an/Shanghai

You will be transferred (40km / approx. 1hr) to Xian airport for your flight to Shanghai. Flight departs Xian for Shanghai. You will be met on arrival by your guide and transferred to your hotel. Overnight Ocean Hotel Shanghai. Today’s meal inclusions – Breakfast

Day 8

Shanghai

Full day visit to the Yu Garden, Shanghai Museum, the Bund, Xintiandi and Pudong New Development Zone. Overnight Ocean Hotel Shanghai. Today’s meal inclusions – Breakfast & Lunch

Shanghai /Suzhou/Shanghai

Excursion to the water town Suzhou, including the Garden of Master of Nets, Silk Spinning Factory, a boat trip on the canal and Pingjiang Road Old Town Area. Overnight Ocean Hotel Shanghai. Today’s meal inclusions – Breakfast & Lunch

Day 10

Depart Shanghai for Ireland

Today you will be transferred to Shanghai International airport for your onward flight (approx. 1 hr). Please note that standard check-out time from the hotel is 12:00. Today’s meal inclusions – Breakfast.
